Osman Başaran aka Kozmonotosman is a craftsman who combines Turkish-pop psychedelic folk and funk with modern electronic music. He digs into Anatolian memories searching for unique weird tracks and reintroduces them on the dancefloors, with a renewed beat that attracts many artists interested in traditional Turkish music.

The path he follows owes a lot to his study of saz as a kid, and to his taste for electro in his youth.

Inspired by the duo Derdiyoklar or Aşık Emrah among others, kozmonotosman revisits songs of Selda Bağcan, Barış Manço, Erkin Koray, Fikret Fızılok, Neşet Ertaş, Arif Sağ…  and delivers original compositions.
